CIRCA subcommittees
Four subcommittees have been struck to undertake to ensure the achievements of CIRCA objectives. Each subcommittee develops and pursues short and long-term strategies, which focus CIRCA efforts and resources on the achievement of its goals.
Communications

This subcommittee promotes CIRCA, its activities, and develops opportunities to deliver an environmentally positive perception of CCP. Communications develops communications to target audiences including specifiers, regulators, designers, end-users, future users, marketers, producers, and industry allies.

Environment &
Government Relations

Stays current on environmental issues that may affect the use of CCP's; works with affiliated organizations, government agencies, producers, marketers, and users of CCPs to influence legislation and regulations affecting CCP commerce nationally and internationally.
The subcommittee provides materials and information to support and inform officials of Federal and Provincial levels of government about issues that may affect the marketing and use of CCPs.

Proposals

The Proposals subcommittee develops and administers processes by which program and projects, proposed to increase the utilization of CCPs, can be recommended to CIRCA members.
The Proposals subcommittee recommends proposals to CIRCA members for funding consideration; current objectives include the identification of a CCP project(s) leading to large volume increases in CCP use.

Technical & Standards
This subcommittee monitors and maintains awareness of issues arising in North American and international standards bodies. The subcommittee stays current on technical specifications and issues concerning their use in practice.
